Password-protected pages

You may be a teacher who'd like to share certain materials with your students only. You may be a content maker who sells unique resources. You may manage an organization with colleagues requiring different levels of access. Either way, now you can protect certain website pages with unique passwords and get full control of your content access.

See the article Creating a password-protected page to learn how to restrict access to certain pages and set unique passwords.

Improved mobile view of the sites

We've improved the logic of the mobile view creation. Now the paddings and fonts adjust better on mobiles which makes the websites lighter, neater, and more readable. There is now more space around buttons, and if you entered bigger paddings on the desktop, they will enlarge proportionally on smaller screens.

Moreover, empty columns and collections don't display on mobiles anymore.

To view a new, better mobile version of your website, make sure to re-publish it.

CRM: notifications about the new deals

When dealing with clients, every minute counts. Respond to the requests in a timely manner with the new feature — CRM notifications.

This way, you'll receive push notifications on your desktop and mobile about all new contact forms submits, instantly. Even if you're not logged in to your Weblium account!

To enable the notifications on desktop, open the CRM in your account and tap Yes! in the pop-up window that appears:

To enable the notifications on mobile, log in to your Weblium account from your mobile device, go to the CRM section, and allow the notifications.

Currently, this feature is available in Chrome only. Make sure that you allow Chrome to send notifications (this can be done in the browser settings).

Choosing the target audience for pop-up

For you, marketers! Now you can display pop-up windows only to the relevant audience. This allows you to personalize current offers for each visitor and track the effectiveness of your ad campaign.

To filter the visitors, this trigger uses the UTM parameters — tags added to the URL of the current page or site with the information about the traffic source. This way, when the page is loading, the system analyzes the user's current UTM tags. The pop-up will only be displayed if these parameters are set as a target.

Learn more about the available parameters and their settings in the article.

Show pop-up on schedule

Now you can define the time period in which the pop-up will be displayed to your site visitors! This is particularly useful if you have a limited time offer — e.g. a promo or a seasonal discount.

Learn more about this and other available triggers in the article here.

Free trial period for new websites

We are happy to let you know that starting today, August 13, 2020, all newly created websites will be automatically assigned a free Trial period which lasts 14 days. All the websites you added before August 13, 2020, will not be affected.

What is the Trial period?

This is an opportunity for you to test some Pro features without paying for the Pro subscription right away. During the Trial period, you can decide whether Pro is right for you or the Free version is enough.

Here is what's available on the Trial period:

  • pop-ups;
  • chats;
  • analytics;
  • integrations;
  • all blocks (except Embed code).

Here are the features NOT available on the Trial period:

  • domain connection;
  • website indexing (by Google or other search engines);
  • custom code;
  • contact form replies (even if you do have a form on your website, you can't receive any requests);
  • adding links to external resources (e.g. linking a button to another website).

What happens once the Trial period is over?

Here are 2 scenarios:

1. If you decided to not go Pro and there is no credit card linked to your account, the site will go Free automatically.

2. If there is a payment method added to your account, the website will be upgraded to the annual Pro plan.

Important to note:

  • You can upgrade to Pro at any point of the Trial period.
  • You can turn off the auto-renewal during the Trial period so the website doesn't go Pro even if there is a payment method in your account.

If you are unsure how the Trial period will affect your websites or if you have any questions, please contact us in chat.
