We have shortened the list of available languages in the “Multilingual site” section, providing you with the 10 most popular options, which makes adding a new language faster. However, you can find the other language you need for your website by simply writing its name in the search field.
Collections received a new feature — shadows. You can add shadows by switching the “Shadow” toggle in the “Styles” tab in the collection settings. You can change the shadow’s size, blur, and position along the X and Y axes.
After toggling the “Shadow” switch, they will be automatically applied to all items in the collection. Please note that applying a shadow will be unavailable if collection items have no background.
Now, indicators in the lower right corner of each website on the “My websites” page are clickable, allowing you to go to corresponding pages in website settings. Now clicking on “Total views”, “Total orders”, and “Total replies” indicators will open a page in website settings — visitor statistics, order list, and replies from forms correspondingly.
The “Collection” element received an outline, which will allow you to better customize the element on a website. You can add an outline in the “Styles” tab in the collection settings.
Outline settings include changing width, color, and line styles, which can be set as solid, dashed, and dotted. Please note that adding the outline will be unavailable if the collection items have no background.
We have added the option to change the positioning of images separately for different devices, giving you more freedom to adapt your site for mobile devices. Now, you can individually change the positioning of the image for the display you need on all devices in the mobile version editor. This is especially useful if you have specified different dimensions or proportions of the image for mobile devices.
We added a shape library. You can access it while editing the “Shape” element by clicking the “More shapes” button. It will allow you to see all the available positions. As of now, the library includes 10 shapes. Among the new shapes are the following:
The spot has no specific shape, which allows you to create unique solutions on your website. Furthermore, all available shapes can be freely moved, resized, and colored, with the ability to add a click action and a background image.
We increased the maximum width of the element’s outline to 30 pixels, allowing you to customize your website better. An outline can now be added to the following elements: shape (square and circle), image, collection items, and columns.
Now, snapping to objects can occur when you change the elements’ rotation angle. Automatic snapping occurs when you rotate elements up to every 15 degrees of rotation when the element is 3° away from an angle that is a multiple of 15. When you rotate an element and reach 12° of rotation, the element will automatically rotate to 15°. Similarly, it will rotate to 30°, 45°, 60°, 75°, etc. You can avoid snapping by toggling the «Snap to object» in the «Tools» tab in the navigation bar in the editor or by arranging the rotation angle in the element settings.
We updated the website transfer feature, which now allows you to transfer your website to the Weblium account of another user in a couple of clicks, even with a Free or Trial subscription. Furthermore, now, the website recipient doesn’t need to buy a subscription since website transfer is free with any subscription plan. It is convenient if you create websites for customers and want to transfer a ready-to-use site to your client or if you need to transfer a website to your other account.
Moreover, if you transfer a website with a paid subscription, you will have a slot with an active paid subscription plan. You can apply this plan to another website in your account.
We made global headers and footers independent for different language versions of the site. This update allows you not only to configure and edit individual language versions of the site more conveniently but also to activate transparency and make a global header sticky on each language version. Thus, changes to the global headers and footers apply only to one language version; for example, editing the header for the French version of a site will not affect the English version.
