Free trial period for new websites

We are happy to let you know that starting today, August 13, 2020, all newly created websites will be automatically assigned a free Trial period which lasts 14 days. All the websites you added before August 13, 2020, will not be affected.

What is the Trial period?

This is an opportunity for you to test some Pro features without paying for the Pro subscription right away. During the Trial period, you can decide whether Pro is right for you or the Free version is enough.

Here is what's available on the Trial period:

  • pop-ups;
  • chats;
  • analytics;
  • integrations;
  • all blocks (except Embed code).

Here are the features NOT available on the Trial period:

  • domain connection;
  • website indexing (by Google or other search engines);
  • custom code;
  • contact form replies (even if you do have a form on your website, you can't receive any requests);
  • adding links to external resources (e.g. linking a button to another website).

What happens once the Trial period is over?

Here are 2 scenarios:

1. If you decided to not go Pro and there is no credit card linked to your account, the site will go Free automatically.

2. If there is a payment method added to your account, the website will be upgraded to the annual Pro plan.

Important to note:

  • You can upgrade to Pro at any point of the Trial period.
  • You can turn off the auto-renewal during the Trial period so the website doesn't go Pro even if there is a payment method in your account.

If you are unsure how the Trial period will affect your websites or if you have any questions, please contact us in chat.

Site History

Finally, you can not worry about experimenting with your site design or adding some new content. We’ve added Site History feature to our editor, so now you can save and store different versions of your site. These versions can be restored to bring a site back to the point in time when the particular version was made.

Keep in mind that you can store up to 5 versions of your free site and up to 100 versions of the Pro site.

Adding JivoSite

We've made it simple to communicate live with your site visitors with the help of chat widgets, and you probably know that you can already integrate LiveChat or Tawk.to chat to your site in just a few clicks.

From now one more popular widget is integrated into our editor – JivoSite chat.

Take a look at our ultimate tutorial for adding a JivoSite.

Adding language menu

A new component in the custom header block. A language menu is an essential element for multilanguage websites.

You can choose from two language menu types, set the number of languages, switch background and text color.

New gallery layouts

Masonry allows uploading images with their own sides proportion. The images can be placed in the vertical rows, the number of which can be regulated. As well the added images can be resized individually.

Thumbnails allow transforming the gallery into two connected sliders. One of them is placed on the whole width of the gallery area, and the second one displays the images preview and used to switch images.

Connecting Webhooks to a contact form

A webhook is a way for an app to send real-time information to other applications. Webhooks are typically used to connect two different applications. For instance, when a contact form on your Weblium site has been submitted, it serializes the data and sends it to a webhook URL from the action application — the one where you'd like to process the data from your contact form.

Read our complete guide on how to receive data from the submitted forms to the custom app.
