Meet pop-ups (beta)!

You’ve been waiting for long enough, so no more suspense: Weblium pop-ups are now live.

We’re extremely proud to have created an all-in-one, multi-purpose pop-up functionality. It will allow you to promote your business, engage your audience, and get more leads. Kudos to the development team!

Here’s what you can already do with the beta version of the pop-ups:

  1. Use a pre-designed block or create a brand new layout in the custom block.
  2. Add/delete elements just like you do in the editor.
  3. Call for pop-up upon click on images, buttons, icons.

Here’s what to expect in the next weeks:

  1. Schedule pop-ups (e.g. after 30 seconds of being on a page).
  2. Display pop-ups on page scroll (e.g. 50% of the page is scrolled) or leave intent.
  3. Change the width of the pop-up window.
  4. Open pop-up upon clicking on the URL in the text.

The pop-ups are available in the editor toolbar for Pro sites in your account. Stay in touch for more!

Upcoming feature: Pop-ups

We are happy to announce that the long-awaited pop-up feature has entered the final stage of development and soon will be available on all Pro sites. With pop-ups, you can engage more with your customers — offer special deals, collect leads' emails, make announcements.

Here's what you'll be able to do:

  • create pop-ups from almost any block in the library;
  • customize them by adding extra elements (buttons, forms, etc.);
  • display pop-ups on click action — images, buttons, icons, text.

This functionality will be gradually expanding to help you create advanced pop-up windows for any purpose.

Stay tuned!

Schema.org markup

The way a site is displayed in the search engines can affect greatly its traffic and performance. Apart from showing the actual site title and description, you may want to share your contact information, address, and opening hours — this will make you one step closer to your prospective customers.

To ensure that the search engines pick up your business info, add it to the site settings. To learn more, check out the article for our brand new feature: Adding Schema.org markup.

Adding a table

Now you can add a table to your website to display a vast amount of information is a more structured, organized way. Tables are available in the blocks wireframe-series-7-contacts and wireframe-series-1-schedule. They are particularly useful to showcase schedules, contact details, prices, etc.

Check out our guide Adding a table to learn more about the customization options.

Site History

Finally, you can not worry about experimenting with your site design or adding some new content. We’ve added Site History feature to our editor, so now you can save and store different versions of your site. These versions can be restored to bring a site back to the point in time when the particular version was made.

Keep in mind that you can store up to 5 versions of your free site and up to 100 versions of the Pro site.

Adding JivoSite

We've made it simple to communicate live with your site visitors with the help of chat widgets, and you probably know that you can already integrate LiveChat or Tawk.to chat to your site in just a few clicks.

From now one more popular widget is integrated into our editor – JivoSite chat.
